What you will do
- Develop IBM i applications using RPG IV/ILE, free-format RPG, CL, and Db2 for i SQL.
- Analyze and trace existing application logic to understand behavior and identify affected areas.
- Implement low-risk defect corrections, maintenance changes, and small enhancements.
- Create and execute unit tests, documenting business rules and implementation considerations.
- Collaborate in Agile ceremonies, peer code reviews, and estimation discussions.
- Ensure compliance with secure-development and data-privacy standards for healthcare software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent technical education/certification.
- 0-1 year of professional software development experience.
- Foundational programming ability in at least one structured language.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Must be based in Tennessee, United States.
- Strong attention to detail and effective written and verbal communication skills.
