Network Engineer WAN (Cisco)

Location: Hybrid; Must be based in the US (Ashburn, VA)

Salary: $152,200 - $243,700 USD per year

What you will do

• Design, engineer, and support IP networks for commercial network infrastructure connecting hirify.global to clients.
• Provision new client processing through network updates and provide third-level technical support for complex network issues.
• Oversee and maintain DDI (DNS, DHCP, and IPAM) infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Architect and deliver innovative public cloud connectivity solutions (AWS, GCP) with Private Data Centers.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development across private, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity teams to maintain security standards and analyze security events.

Requirements

• U.S. Applicants Only.
• 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience/degree combination).
• Expertise in IP routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and Cisco networking devices (CCNP level expected).
• Experience with SDWAN technologies (Cisco, Versa) and leading public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Python, Chef, or Puppet.
• Knowledge of DDI concepts and production experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
