What you will do
- Own, prioritize, and maintain the Agile team backlog, including user stories, defects, and technical enablers.
- Translate product features and business requirements into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Support Sprint Planning, Program Increment Planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Coordinate dependencies, identify delivery risks, and support successful product releases in compliance with quality and development processes.
- Gather stakeholder feedback, monitor delivery metrics, and improve product value and team effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in Agile software development and product delivery.
- Experience managing product backlogs, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD, and tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Strong analytical, planning, prioritization, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work remotely within the United States with authorization to work in the U.S.; the position is listed as Canada Remote. Excellent written and verbal English communication is required.
