Certified ICC / IFC Special Inspector (Engineering): Performing field inspections to verify compliance with plans, building codes, and industry standards for commercial and industrial projects with an accent on structural steel, bolting, and fireproofing. Focus on delivering precise technical reports and ensuring safety and compliance across semiconductor and manufacturing construction sites.
Location: Tempe, AZ. Must be a "U.S. Person" (Citizen, Green Card, Refugee, or Asylee) due to ITAR regulations.

What you will do
- Perform field inspections to verify compliance with approved plans, specifications, and building codes.
- Complete accurate and timely inspection reports and project documentation.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to resolve inspection-related issues.
- Maintain high standards of safety and technical excellence in industrial environments.
- Operate in demanding conditions, including working at heights, in confined spaces, and around hazardous materials.
Requirements
- Current ICC Special Inspector certifications in Structural Steel, HS Bolting, Fireproofing, or IFC/FCIA Firestop.
- Proven experience in special inspections for commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of applicable codes, standards, and quality assurance requirements.
- Must be a "U.S. Person" per ITAR regulations (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift and carry 100 pounds and work shifts up to 12 hours/day.
