Salary: $229,600β$337,000 annual base salary, plus discretionary bonus and company equity.

What you will do
- Lead engineers and scientists building the AI and data engine behind real-time event detection and intelligence products.
- Translate advanced AI, deep learning, and machine learning research into scalable production solutions.
- Partner with product managers, researchers, and business stakeholders to define model and platform performance requirements.
- Own quality and cost metrics for individual models and integrated end-to-end AI performance.
- Develop and improve model workflows, evaluations, outputs, and production approaches.
- Drive human-centered solutions that improve context, end-user impact, and real-world business outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience in cloud-native environments, including AWS and Kubernetes.
- At least 5 years of experience leading software engineers in an AI team.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks, LLMs, agent harnesses, and compound AI systems, including PyTorch and related tooling.
- Hands-on experience developing and deploying machine learning, deep learning, or LLM systems at large scale in NLP, computer vision, information retrieval, or a related field, preferably in real time.
- Strong communication skills and a demonstrated record of delivering multiple complex AI projects end to end.
