What you will do

• Lead communications strategy for France, Germany, and Spain, shaping priorities and driving a consistent news drumbeat.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior reporters, editors, and industry influencers across key European markets.
• Manage local agency partners in Germany and Spain to deliver results that drive awareness and growth.
• Develop thought leadership platforms for Canva leaders and prepare them for media interviews and events.
• Partner cross-functionally with sales leaders, growth managers, and partnership teams.
• Bridge global and local narratives to ensure storytelling is consistent and culturally relevant.

Requirements

• Extensive communications experience across European markets, specifically France, Germany, and Spain.
• Proven track record of securing top-tier media coverage and managing agency partners.
• Experience in B2B and AI communications, translating complex narratives into compelling stories.
• Ability to execute integrated strategies spanning product, corporate, and executive storytelling.
• Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with high autonomy.
• French language skills strongly preferred; German or Spanish as an advantage.
