Biotechnologist, 2K (Mammalian)

Location: Tuas, Singapore; onsite manufacturing role with rotating 12-hour shifts

What you will do

• Perform cGMP biomanufacturing activities, including equipment setup, operation, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Execute mammalian cell culture and purification processes using bioreactors, chromatography, and filtration.
• Monitor pH, dissolved oxygen, CO₂/O₂ levels, cell performance, and other process parameters.
• Operate process control systems including UNICORN and DeltaV and maintain accurate batch records.
• Apply aseptic techniques, maintain cleanroom standards, and perform sanitization and 6S housekeeping.
• Prepare buffers, media, and customer-specific solutions while supporting equipment preparation and CIP activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with cGMP practices and regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in a collaborative environment.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow standardized procedures and documentation requirements.
• Willingness to work in a rotating 12-hour shift pattern.

Nice to have

• Knowledge or exposure to biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
• Experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, or cleanroom environment.
