Biotechnologist, 2K (Mammalian) (Biomanufacturing): Executing cGMP mammalian cell culture and purification processes for therapeutic protein production with an accent on bioreactor operations, chromatography, filtration, and aseptic manufacturing. Focus on monitoring critical process parameters, operating UNICORN and DeltaV control systems, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining accurate batch documentation in a rotating 12-hour shift environment.
Location: Tuas, Singapore; onsite manufacturing role with rotating 12-hour shifts

What you will do
- Perform cGMP biomanufacturing activities, including equipment setup, operation, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Execute mammalian cell culture and purification processes using bioreactors, chromatography, and filtration.
- Monitor pH, dissolved oxygen, CO₂/O₂ levels, cell performance, and other process parameters.
- Operate process control systems including UNICORN and DeltaV and maintain accurate batch records.
- Apply aseptic techniques, maintain cleanroom standards, and perform sanitization and 6S housekeeping.
- Prepare buffers, media, and customer-specific solutions while supporting equipment preparation and CIP activities.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with cGMP practices and regulated manufacturing environments.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills in a collaborative environment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow standardized procedures and documentation requirements.
- Willingness to work in a rotating 12-hour shift pattern.
Nice to have
- Knowledge or exposure to biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, or cleanroom environment.
