What you will do

• Provide strategic legal guidance throughout the product lifecycle for digital banking and payment solutions.
• Lead enterprise-level AI governance initiatives, including policies, risk assessments, and Board-level reporting.
• Negotiate and draft strategic technology, integration, and customer-facing commercial agreements.
• Develop and maintain global privacy policies and compliance frameworks, including Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
• Mentor and lead a team of international attorneys to foster a high-performing legal culture.
• Advise executive leadership on regulatory risks and mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from the Atlanta, Georgia office.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar.
• 7+ years of experience as Product, Technology, Privacy, or Governance Counsel.
• Proven experience supporting SaaS platforms, fintech solutions, or regulated financial services organizations.
• Exceptional ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Deep knowledge of financial regulations including GLBA, BSA, AML, and KYC.
• Experience designing or managing AI governance or responsible AI programs.
• Prior people leadership experience managing attorneys or legal professionals.
• In-house legal experience supporting digital banking or cloud-based technology products.
