VFX Artist (Gamedev)

What you will do

• Create and develop real-time VFX using Unreal Engine 5 and Niagara.
• Author immersive VFX for a Third Person Action Shooter in collaboration with Creative Leads.
• Problem-solve and support tools and tech development to achieve visual and performance targets in engine.
• Monitor deliverable progress, manage assigned scope, and ensure all FX assets meet technical requirements.
• Work independently and collaboratively to take ownership of VFX problems.
• Document tools and production pipelines in a clear and understandable way.

Requirements

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and reside within Canada.
• 2+ years of proven gameplay development experience.
• Proficiency with Unreal Engine 5 and Niagara.
• Experience with dynamic FX scaling and variable integration at runtime.
• Ability to work on multidisciplinary project teams and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Unreal Blueprints.
• Experience with Unreal Chaos destruction.
