Event Manager (Entertainment)

Salary: $25/hour

What you will do

• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for Candlelight events and staff.
• Manage staff rosters, scheduling, and training for ticket validation and guest seating.
• Oversee logistics, including transporting event supplies via uHaul and managing venue inventory.
• Coordinate guest lists and deliver opening/closing remarks during concerts.
• Submit weekly status reports to Project Managers regarding pre and post-event findings.
• Assist in evaluating and executing walk-throughs for potential new venues.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in event management or a relevant degree.
• Must be based in or near Ventura County, California.
• Strong team leadership and exceptional customer service skills.
• Valid Driver's License strongly preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, primarily Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings.
• Personal laptop is required for daily operations.

• Knowledge of AV and PA systems.
