System Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Configure, onboard, and maintain connected industrial devices including machines, tools, and scanners.
• Ensure seamless integration of factory hardware with network infrastructure.
• Provide first-line support and troubleshoot network and OT issues for manufacturing digital solutions.
• Lead the digital twin roadmap to transform factory operations through connected ecosystems.
• Collaborate as a key link between production, external suppliers, and internal IT/infrastructure teams.
• Manage system updates for industrial software like SAP, ENOVIA, and CAD/CAM.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering, Automation, Industrial IT, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Professional proficiency in both English and Dutch (written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of basic networking (IP/MAC, VLANs, DNS) and server administration.
• Experience with Windows-based systems and industrial cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Proven track record in project leadership and defining technical roadmaps.

Nice to have

• Experience as a key user or system owner for industrial applications such as MOMS, CAQ, or SAP.
