Building Automation Systems (BAS) Specialist (IoT/Engineering): Installing, configuring, and optimizing building automation systems to ensure facility efficiency with an accent on HVAC and control system integration. Focus on troubleshooting BAS software, designing automation solutions, and improving system reliability.

Location: Onsite in Mobile, Alabama

Salary: $60,000 – $75,000 USD

What you will do

  • Install, configure, and program building automation systems to meet project specifications and client requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of BAS to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to design and implement effective automation solutions.
  • Monitor system performance and make adjustments to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users on system operation.
  • Document system configurations, changes, and maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in building automation systems installation, programming, and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and control systems.
  • Proficiency in BAS software and tools such as Tridium, Siemens, or Johnson Controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client collaboration.
  • Must be based in or able to work onsite in Mobile, Alabama.

  • Relevant certifications in BAS or related technical fields.
