Backend Engineer

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania (Remote work available within Europe)

Salary: €5,300 - €8,000 gross monthly

What you will do

• Build mobile APIs and develop microservices to evolve architecture
• Enhance systems for risk management, fraud detection, and payment processing
• Focus on greenfield development and system improvements

Requirements

• 6+ years of backend development experience
• Fluency in Java
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, maths, physics, or similar
• Fluency in English
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment

Nice to have

• Experience with Kotlin or Scala
• Experience in finance
• Experience in startups or scale-ups
• Experience in product-focused environments
