Overview

The Technology team builds world-class financial features from the ground up that will be used by millions of people around the world. As a Backend Engineer, you will play a key role in building mobile APIs and developing microservices.

What you will do

• Build mobile APIs.
• Develop microservices to evolve the architecture.
• Perfect systems that the business depends on, like risk management, fraud detection, and payment processing.
• Focus on greenfield development and improvement of existing systems.

Requirements

• Fluency with Java.
• 6+ years of experience in backend development.
• A bachelor's degree (or above) in computer science, maths, physics, or similar field.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Fluency in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kotlin or Scala.
• Experience in finance.
• Experience in a start-up or scale-up.
• Experience in a product-focused environment.
