Pharmacist (Veterinary) (Online Pet Pharmacy): Interpreting and verifying veterinary medication orders for online pet parents with an accent on dosing accuracy, contraindication and interaction review, and regulatory compliance. Focus on supervising pharmacy technicians and interns, communicating with veterinarians and pet parents, completing medication audits, and maintaining safe, efficient pharmacy operations.
Location: Goodyear, Arizona, United States
Salary: Up to $65.00 per hour

What you will do
- Interpret and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriate dosing, scheduling, contraindications, allergies, interactions, and incompatibilities.
- Communicate with veterinarians, veterinary staff, and pet parents to support efficient patient care.
- Supervise, train, and mentor pharmacy technicians and interns.
- Maintain accurate records and follow federal and state legal requirements and pharmacy policies.
- Process prescriptions using multiple computer tools, complete medication count audits, and uphold safety, compliance, and performance standards.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and adapt to changing assignments in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy with RPh qualification or a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
- Active pharmacist license in Arizona in good standing, with additional state licenses and credentials as required.
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to sit, stand, squat, kneel, reach, and walk for prolonged periods.
- Strong customer service, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, holidays, and weekends.
