What you will do

• Conduct regular alcohol and drug abuse counseling sessions and group therapy per state regulations.
• Develop and implement formal patient treatment plans and monitor progress.
• Maintain comprehensive, organized patient records and document all clinical contacts.
• Perform intake and readmission services, providing supportive follow-up for new patients.
• Coordinate care with community providers and make appropriate case-management referrals.
• Provide crisis intervention and support services to patients as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in human services or a related field.
• Required certification/license: CSAC-S, CSAC, Resident in Counseling, Supervisee in Social Work, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LSATP.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Glen Allen, VA.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to handle sensitive, confidential issues.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to use standard office equipment.
