Implementation Senior Consultant (Payments)

What you will do

• Lead complex client onboardings and implementations involving multiple dependencies, regulatory constraints, and deployment requirements.
• Advise clients on using payment platforms and APIs to meet business and technical requirements.
• Deliver advanced platform and API demonstrations covering capabilities, implementation patterns, and limitations.
• Guide the resolution of complex client issues, escalations, and ambiguous delivery problems.
• Own delivery governance, onboarding strategy, project visibility, KPI tracking, and escalation management.
• Improve onboarding standards, playbooks, delivery processes, and time to value in partnership with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5 years with an advanced degree, or 2 years with a PhD.
• Experience with cloud, microservices, and API or streaming architectures, including change control, release, and resiliency practices.
• Knowledge of GCC banking and payment regulations, risk frameworks, and audit or compliance delivery expectations.
• Experience delivering complex multi-market projects using Agile, Lean, or hybrid project management approaches.
• Experience building and scaling high-performing teams through mentorship, empowerment, and accountability.
• Strong relationship-building skills with C-level executives, clients, and cross-functional partners.

Nice to have

• Russian language skills.
• Experience leading the certification and implementation of Jaywan and AEP switches in the UAE.
• At least 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 7 years with an advanced degree, or 3 years with a PhD.
