Senior Software Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Influence and design the overall architecture of hirify.global’s market data systems.
• Develop highly scalable, mission-critical backend services and lead architectural decisions.
• Optimize system performance to achieve nanosecond-level latency.
• Maintain high software quality and test coverage through rigorous code reviews.
• Troubleshoot incidents and resolve complex reported bugs.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support timely engineering projects.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience working on systems at scale.
• Proficiency in compiled imperative languages, specifically Go.
• Strong skills in SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP and UDP networking.
• Proficiency with Linux/BSD and shell scripting.
• Experience with Kubernetes (GKE) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Nice to have

• Experience with Market Data or building low-latency applications.
• Knowledge of microservice architectures and clean code principles.
• DevOps mindset and Cloud Networking experience (BGP, VPC peering).
• Experience with distributed key-value stores and CI/CD pipelines.
• Skills in observability, tracing, continuous profiling, and capacity planning.
