TL;DR
Senior Platform Engineer (CI/CD/Kubernetes): Building and optimizing CI/CD infrastructure for a European fintech platform with an accent on stability, scalability, and developer enablement. Focus on maintaining self-hosted Gitlab and ArgoCD deployments, scaling Kubernetes resources, and implementing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.
Location: Hybrid in Milan. Relocation and visa support are not offered for this role.

What you will do
- Oversee the health, stability, and scalability of CI/CD infrastructure to support rapid product delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies and governance for CI/CD systems, ensuring security, compliance, and resilience.
- Optimize compute and storage usage to balance resource efficiency with a seamless developer experience.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues related to CI/CD tooling in collaboration with internal engineering teams.
- Monitor systems and respond to outages to maintain high availability and operational standards.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with self-hosted CI systems such as Gitlab, Jenkins, or Buildkite.
- Experience with cloud-native deployment and GitOps solutions like ArgoCD or Flux.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, specifically Terraform.
- Strong experience running and monitoring systems on Kubernetes using Helm.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain clear technical documentation.
- Must be based in Italy; relocation or visa support is not provided.
Nice to have
- Previous experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience building and operating continuous integration specifically with Gitlab.
- Experience building deployment platforms based on ArgoCD.
