What you will do
- Design, operate, and improve production-grade Kubernetes platforms, including workloads, manifests, and Helm charts.
- Implement and support GitOps workflows using Flux or Argo CD for repeatable deployments.
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure and reliable application delivery.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and monitoring using Terraform and observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Partner with security and engineering teams to enhance container, cluster, and supply-chain security.
- Mentor engineers on Kubernetes, DevOps, and production operations best practices.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production at scale.
- Proficiency with GitOps tools (Flux or Argo CD) and CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools.
- Strong Linux systems, networking, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with AWS services including EKS, IAM, VPC, and S3.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
Nice to have
- Experience with Service Mesh (Istio, Linkerd, Consul).
- Secrets Management expertise (Vault, External Secrets).
- Background in Platform Engineering or SRE practices.
- Experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.
