Group Underwriter (Insurance): Preparing financial statements for group health, life, and disability insurance lines with an accent on financial agreement accuracy and profitability targets. Focus on managing relationships with clients and producers while collaborating with internal finance and administration teams.
Location: Prince Edward Island, Canada (Hybrid)
Salary: 53,235 - 59,890 CAD

What you will do
- Prepare financial statements for ASO and Retention groups in accordance with financial agreements.
- Review and ensure the wording on financial agreements is sound.
- Maintain and meet underwriting targets for growth and profitability.
- Develop and maintain direct relationships with sales, clients, and producers.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Finance, Case Management, and Group Administration.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in business administration, mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, or computer science.
- Must be based in or able to work in Prince Edward Island, Canada.
- 1 year of Group Underwriting experience recommended.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
