Device Engineer (eInfochips Inc)

Location: Complete on-site work in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States; travel to an Arrow client office may be required.

What you will do

• Verify flight display and flight management software against DO-178B/C DAL A requirements.
• Develop high-level and low-level software requirements from system requirements.
• Analyze system-level architectural requirements for software design and development.
• Review technical artifacts and provide analysis.
• Develop test cases and procedures, execute tests, and generate results and reports.
• Build support utilities to reduce cycle time and perform dry-run and RFS activities.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience, including embedded systems development.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
• Experience with flight management systems and flight display systems.
• Intermediate proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
• Experience with DO-178B/C DAL A and software code analysis tools such as Rapita, LDRA, or VectorCAST.
• Excellent debugging skills and experience with requirements and configuration management tools, including DOORS or Jama.
