TL;DR
Senior Trader (iGaming): Managing market configurations and risk performance for client sportsbooks with an accent on liability management and data-driven optimization. Focus on onboarding clients to the DEFEND risk product, refining risk algorithms with Data Science teams, and consulting on sportsbook strategies.
Location: Ireland, Ashkelon, or Latin America

What you will do
- Configure and dynamically update markets, limits, tiers, and bet delay parameters for live sports events.
- Analyze trading and risk performance reports to optimize client, market, and competition limits.
- Onboard sportsbook clients to DEFEND and implement their customized trading priorities.
- Lead performance reviews with sportsbook leadership and provide platform training and strategy consulting.
- Collaborate with Data Science, Product, and Engineering on player segmentation, bet scoring, risk algorithms, and the product roadmap.
- Train global colleagues and lead trading knowledge-sharing sessions.
Requirements
- Professional experience as a Trader or Risk Manager at a sportsbook operator or B2B sports data or betting supplier.
- Hands-on experience with market configuration, liability management, limit setting, and bet delay parameters.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel, SQL, and BI dashboards such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills for working with clients and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate in an agile environment and contribute to operational quality standards.
Nice to have
- Trading expertise across multiple sports and specialized markets beyond football.
- Experience with risk management tools, machine-learning player segmentation, or automated bet scoring models.
- Experience supporting sportsbooks in non-European regulated markets such as the US, LATAM, or APAC.
