What you will do

• Set up and dynamically update market, limit, and tier configurations for client sportsbooks during live events.
• Analyze trading and risk performance reports to optimize client, market, and competition limits.
• Onboard new client sportsbooks onto the DEFEND proprietary risk product.
• Lead regular performance review calls and strategy consultations with sportsbook leadership.
• Collaborate with Data Science teams to refine player segmentation, bet scoring, and risk algorithms.
• Provide trader-centric insights to shape the product roadmap alongside Product and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Trader or Risk Manager within a sportsbook operator or B2B sports data supplier.
• Proficiency in market configuration, liability management, and bet delay parameters.
• Strong data skills in Advanced Excel, SQL, and BI dashboards (Power BI or Tableau).
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for interfacing with executive stakeholders.
• Experience working in an agile environment and maintaining operational quality standards.

Nice to have

• Deep trading expertise across diverse sports and specialized markets beyond football/soccer.
• Experience with risk management tooling, machine learning player segmentation, or automated bet scoring models.
• Experience supporting sportsbooks in non-European regulated markets (US, LATAM, APAC).
