Location: Hybrid in Riga, Latvia, with the option to work remotely and from another country for up to three months each year.

Salary: €5,150–€5,690 per month, plus stock options.

What you will do

• Develop and enhance Android app functionality and user experience across multiple hirify.global products.
• Build shared components that support efficient delivery of new features.
• Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with Android engineers and product stakeholders to define the app’s technical direction.
• Improve mobile performance, reliability, user experience, and code quality.
• Contribute to CI/CD, release processes, and pull request review guidelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in native Android development for the Senior level.
• Hands-on experience with Kotlin, Compose, Hilt, and Coroutines.
• Ability to build maintainable mobile applications using strong engineering practices and design patterns.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, clean code principles, and quality standards.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Experience with RxJava and Dagger2.
• Background in real-time data integrations, including WebSockets and SSE.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
