Head of Information Security (Cybersecurity): Defining and executing an enterprise-wide security strategy for an education technology platform with an accent on cybersecurity governance, IT risk management, and compliance. Location: Singapore. Remote work is available in locations without company offices; hybrid work is available in locations with offices, with 2 days in-office and 3 days remote.

What you will do

• Define and execute company-wide information security strategies, policies, and governance.
• Lead enterprise security and IT risk management programs.
• Drive compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, and related security standards.
• Oversee cybersecurity and physical security operations, including incident response.
• Lead business continuity planning and advise executive leadership on security risks.
• Build a strong security-aware culture across the organisation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in information security, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong expertise in cybersecurity, risk management, and security frameworks.
• Hands-on knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, and related standards.
• Experience leading incident response and security operations.
• Ability to communicate risk clearly to technical and executive audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent certifications.
• Experience securing cloud-native Kubernetes and GitLab CI/CD environments.
• Experience in regulated or fast-scaling technology organisations.
