What you will do

• Contribute ideas and plans for game locations and levels.
• Build rough geometry including terrain, buildings, and interior walls.
• Finalize locations and cutscenes using existing meshes and decals.
• Light environments and cutscenes to enhance mood and guide gameplay.
• Optimize locations and take ownership of a substantial part of the game environment.
• Collaborate with level designers, concept artists, 2D/3D artists, and other development specialists using a proprietary editor.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in level design or lighting for video game levels.
• At least one shipped AAA title.
• Very good command of English.
• Passion for games and knowledge of the gaming industry from a player’s perspective.
• Ability to communicate ideas verbally and through quick sketches.
• Strong teamwork skills and familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, 3DS Max, or Blender.
