What you will do

• Refine complex user stories and acceptance criteria with product managers, architects, designers, and engineers.
• Define risk-based testing strategies and identify systemic weaknesses across applications and infrastructure.
• Architect and scale automated testing frameworks for frontend, backend, APIs, integrations, performance, data, and visual validation.
• Lead root cause analysis for critical defects and improve defect prevention and resolution tracking.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and establish continuous quality gates.
• Report on quality metrics, test coverage, trends, and predictive insights while mentoring engineers on testing best practices.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in QA automation for complex, data-intensive, web-based enterprise applications.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong experience with Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium and the ability to build custom automation frameworks.
• Programming proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python, including the ability to debug and contribute to application code.
• Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks such as Mocha, Jest, pytest, or Unittest.
• Expertise in REST API testing, SQL and NoSQL databases, Git, Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and data integrity validation.

Nice to have

• Advanced certifications in software testing or automation.
