What you will do
- Manage and implement health programs focusing on maternal, neonatal, and child survival within emergency contexts.
- Provide technical guidance and operational support throughout the programming process to achieve sustainable results.
- Lead the monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of health programs using results-based management (RBM) approaches.
- Build strategic partnerships, advocate for child health, and network with key stakeholders.
- Drive innovation, knowledge management, and capacity building within the health section.
Requirements
- Master's degree in public health, health emergencies, epidemiology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in public health planning, management, or health emergency preparedness.
- Required professional experience working in humanitarian situations.
- Fluency in English.
- Proven skills in partnership building, monitoring, and evaluation.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) or a local language.
- Experience working in developing countries, fragile settings, or humanitarian contexts.
- Relevant experience within a UN system agency or multilateral organization.
- Experience with health cluster coordination and field experience in humanitarian emergencies.
