What you will do

• Lead and govern the annual Group Strategy Cycle, including strategy deep dives, transversal strategy weeks, and Supervisory Board preparations.
• Define and manage the “Disruption Book” framework to identify, assess, and prioritize critical industry disruptions.
• Drive group-level strategic projects, including sustainability strategies, competitive repositioning, and cross-brand collaboration.
• Oversee a robust Market Intelligence Framework covering macro/micro trends, competitive benchmarking, and customer segmentation.
• Lead or co-lead large-scale M&A projects (> €50M revenue) and develop post-merger integration playbooks.
• Serve as a senior advisor to the CEO and Group Executive Leadership Team on capital allocation, strategic risks, and portfolio evolution.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in strategic leadership roles within multinational matrix environments.
• Significant professional experience in relevant industries such as Engineering, Construction, or Building Materials.
• Background in strategy consulting at a top-tier firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain).
• Proven track record of successfully leading M&A deals and post-merger integration.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German is a plus.
• Deep understanding of digital business models, SaaS trends, and AI-driven automation.
