HVAC Maintenance Mechanic, Level IV

Location: US - Portsmouth, NH. Onsite work with a 6:00 AM–6:00 PM shift schedule: Sunday–Tuesday in week 1 and Sunday–Wednesday in week 2. The first three months of training run Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, daily inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC, air handlers, cold rooms, freezer systems, laboratory equipment, and plant utility systems.
• Work safely according to GMP guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions, and site safety protocols.
• Document maintenance activities electronically and in writing, including records in TrackWise, to maintain GMP compliance.
• Assist and coordinate contractors and vendors to keep equipment fully operational.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and maintain current training for all job-related responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least four years of mechanical maintenance experience.
• Safe and effective use of hand tools.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain clear written records.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures consistently and willingness to learn complex mechanical drawings.
• Working knowledge of shop mathematics.
