Salary: CAD 115,500–173,300 per year

What you will do
- Design, build, test, release, and maintain mobile application features with React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Contribute to frontend architecture, reusable components, development patterns, and technical standards.
- Translate user experience requirements into maintainable technical solutions with product managers, designers, and researchers.
- Write well-tested code, participate in code reviews, documentation, testing practices, and release processes.
- Diagnose and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to deliver reliable end-to-end experiences.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience, including production React Native applications or high-performance JavaScript and TypeScript applications.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong knowledge of React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, component architecture, state management, and mobile application development.
- Experience profiling, debugging, and optimizing frontend or mobile application performance.
- Understanding of cross-platform architecture and communication between JavaScript and native modules.
- Ability to independently deliver defined projects while collaborating with engineering and cross-functional partners.
Nice to have
- Experience with social, community, gaming, or other consumer products.
- Familiarity with VoIP, call dialing, and ringing flows in Android or React Native.
- Experience with accessibility, internationalization, and UI testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern frontend build systems.
- Experience at an early-stage startup or on a zero-to-one product team.
