What you will do
- Lead day-to-day offensive security operations, including red team engagements, purple team exercises, and adversary simulations.
- Guide and mentor a team of offensive security engineers, providing technical direction and coaching.
- Oversee the planning, scoping, and delivery of risk-based security assessments aligned with business priorities.
- Partner with Threat Detection, Incident Response, and Engineering teams to translate findings into actionable improvements.
- Improve offensive security tools and methodologies to increase coverage and operational efficiency.
- Track risk trends and recurring control gaps, escalating material issues to leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a significant focus on offensive security or red teaming.
- Hands-on knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK methodologies, cloud, network, and identity penetration testing.
- Experience with social engineering and phishing simulations.
- Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Greece (Thessaloniki/Chortiatis).
- CV must be submitted in English.
Nice to have
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other highly regulated industries.
- Cloud-native red teaming expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP) and identity-centric attack paths.
- Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR and threat intelligence workflows.
- Professional certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, CRTO, CISSP, or GIAC.
