Director, Visa Consulting & Analytics (Fintech): Leading consulting engagements for big tech and fintech clients across strategy, growth, profitability, customer experience, and digital payments with an accent on client development, strategic insight, and scalable consulting solutions. Focus on selling and delivering complex engagements, building client performance analyses, and managing high-performing consulting teams.

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; at least 3 days per week in the office required. Travel required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $163,500–$307,600 USD per year, with potential sales incentives; bonus and equity may also apply.

What you will do

  • Lead the Digital Partner & Fintech consulting segment for North American clients.
  • Manage a sales pipeline and sell consulting engagements to targeted clients.
  • Build client relationships and guide strategic discussions with account, delivery, and marketing teams.
  • Lead consulting initiatives, develop insights and recommendations, and improve client growth and profitability.
  • Create scalable solutions, toolkits, best-practice documents, and consulting frameworks.
  • Manage internal approvals, revenue recognition processes, and a consulting team through coaching and performance feedback.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 8+ years with an advanced degree, or 3+ years with a PhD.
  • Experience in management consulting or an equivalent role, including 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of payments, banking operations, payment schemes, co-brand economics, and fintech or big tech business dynamics.
  • Experience managing client relationships, external partnerships, individuals, and consulting teams.
  • Strong analytical, communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with a focus on business performance and ROI.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stay current with payment and technology trends.
