What you will do
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, large-scale technical operations projects involving engineering teams, product leads, suppliers, and project managers.
- Establish project scope, objectives, deliverables, requirements, success metrics, and delivery roadmaps.
- Align senior stakeholders on priorities and trade-offs while balancing strategic goals, capacity, timelines, and budgets.
- Track risks, resolve issues and communication gaps, remove delivery obstacles, and manage competing priorities.
- Coordinate executive and portfolio reporting across multiple engineering initiatives.
- Mentor technical project managers and improve project management standards, frameworks, and practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of program or project management experience in a technology environment, including 4+ years in software development.
- Experience influencing multiple leaders, establishing shared goals, and delivering large-scale cross-organization projects on time and on budget.
- Knowledge of systems development life cycle and Agile/Scrum and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Experience with release planning, project prioritization, and resource-capacity coordination.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across engineering, product management, program management, and executive leadership.
- Bachelorβs degree or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of cloud hosting, on-premise infrastructure, and hybrid infrastructure technologies.
- Technical understanding of software development principles, designs, challenges, and risks.
- Experience with financial management, budget tracking, and forecasting for complex projects.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, JIRA, product discovery, experimentation, and modern delivery practices.
