What you will do

• Lead security tooling across application, dependency, supply chain, artifact, container, and cloud security.
• Build, integrate, and operate platforms such as GitHub Advanced Security, JFrog Xray, Prisma, Black Duck, and Checkmarx.
• Design automation for vulnerability detection, dependency hygiene, patch planning, remediation tracking, and governed security workflows.
• Translate security policies into delivery pipeline guardrails and practical developer workflows.
• Improve the developer experience by reducing security noise and clarifying remediation actions.
• Lead proofs of concept and security-focused initiatives, including AI-assisted automation and controls for AI-enabled engineering tools.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 2+ years of experience in security engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or production software engineering.
• Strong programming or scripting skills in Go, Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Hands-on experience with code scanning, dynamic testing, software composition analysis, secret scanning, container scanning, artifact security, cloud security posture management, or policy enforcement.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, cloud platforms, Git workflows, and infrastructure as code.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives, run proofs of concept, and translate security requirements into practical engineering solutions.

Nice to have

• Exposure to SOC 2 or similar compliance-driven environments.
• Experience with AI-assisted security automation and large language model APIs or agent-based workflows.
• Familiarity with security risks for AI tools, including data leakage, prompt injection, shadow AI, and enterprise AI policy compliance.
