TL;DR
Systems Analyst (I5) (Authorization Operations): Monitoring and supporting Visa's real-time authorization platforms across multi-datacenter and multi-processing environments with an accent on incident response, system analysis, and operational coordination. Focus on troubleshooting critical authorization systems, escalating complex incidents to L2/L3 teams, and improving support procedures for 24x7x365 operations.
Location: Singapore; at least 3 days in the office are required

What you will do
- Monitor 's TPF-based VIP/Net and open-system OVN authorization platforms across multi-datacenter and multi-processing environments.
- Provide first-level response, perform console operations, and assist with mitigating or eliminating incidents affecting authorization systems and clients.
- Track, update, and resolve incidents, changes, and problem tickets while maintaining accurate, high-quality documentation.
- Analyze alerts and ticket trends, escalate incidents according to support procedures, and coordinate on-shift responses.
- Collaborate with L2/L3 support and development teams to resolve incidents and problems.
- Develop and improve operational procedures, facilitate team communication, and provide activity oversight for team members on shift.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience supporting critical applications based on IBM TPF or equivalent real-time operating systems, or distributed Linux systems.
- Experience with large datacenter environments and mainframe, open-systems hardware, software, and utilities.
- Experience with one or more of Linux, Unix, MVS, VM, SuperVision, HMC, ServiceNow, Kubernetes, Kafka, DB2, ClickHouse, Splunk, or Cassandra.
- Strong troubleshooting, critical-thinking, incident-management, communication, documentation, and prioritization skills.
- ITIL Foundation certification, or the ability to obtain it within six months.
