Location: Hybrid in Portugal (occasional visits to the office in Coimbra or Aveiro are required)

What you will do

• Analyze phone configuration documentation and create integration specifications for Call Server requirements.
• Lead the implementation and validation of changes to support new and updated phone models.
• Investigate complex issues involving VoIP, SIP, networking, endpoint devices, and device configuration.
• Create and maintain technical configuration guides for Development, QA, and Support teams.
• Implement analytics and usage metrics, and perform profiling and performance optimization of the provisioning server.
• Develop high-quality code following Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and provide technical guidance to the team.

Requirements

• Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong server-side development experience in Java.
• Experience with Linux server development, including Nginx, Tomcat, and command-line tools.
• Proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL or Percona.
• Basic knowledge of VoIP, SIP, IP networking, and network programming (sockets, TCP/UDP).
• Understanding of IP security principles (TLS, certificate management) and experience with Wireshark or tcpdump.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IP phones, endpoint devices, device configuration, and provisioning mechanisms.
