TL;DR
Senior Manager, MED Oncology RWE/Epi Scientist (Oncology): Designing and delivering global real-world evidence and epidemiologic studies across the oncology drug development lifecycle with an accent on observational data, evidence strategy, and scientific communication. Focus on generating rapid insights, translating complex analyses into meaningful evidence, and supporting regulatory submissions through rigorous research design and cross-functional collaboration.

Location: On-premise in Greece or Poland; the listed office location is Athens, N. Psychiko, Greece.

What you will do

  • Design, support, and lead global real-world evidence and epidemiologic studies for oncology pipeline and approved products.
  • Synthesize scientific literature and develop epidemiology reviews, RWE insights, regulatory responses, protocols, reports, and presentations.
  • Identify suitable internal and external data resources while assessing the strengths and limitations of study designs and data sources.
  • Generate rapid insights from real-world and observational data, including complex structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Partner with Medical and Chief Medical Office stakeholders to address evidence needs and support submissions to the FDA, EMA, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Build external data and research partnerships while maintaining quality, compliance, timelines, and project metrics.

Requirements

  • PhD in Epidemiology, Statistics, Biostatistics, Health Outcomes Research, Quantitative Methods, Public Health, Health Economics, or a related biological science with a substantial quantitative component and at least 1 year of relevant experience; or a relevant Master's degree/MPH with at least 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong quantitative, epidemiologic, and observational research methodology skills.
  • Strong technical writing and oral presentation skills, with publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at scientific or medical conferences.
  • Experience converting complex analyses into meaningful insights using data visualization and presentation tools.
  • Ability to work autonomously, lead research activities under pressure, and collaborate across a matrixed organization.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment for real-world evidence and current developments in epidemiology, medicine, and technology.

  • Experience working with electronic medical records, claims data, and surveys.
