What you will do

• Perform periodic cost reviews and analyze trends to identify suspicious costs early.
• Investigate root causes of cost anomalies across AWS and AI providers like Anthropic and OpenAI.
• Maintain internal FinOps documentation, tagging guidelines, and cost-allocation frameworks.
• Develop internal cost optimization automations and R&D AI agents for anomaly prevention.
• Design and maintain shared Terraform modules for infrastructure efficiency.
• Monitor and mitigate risks related to overprovisioning and ensure budget compliance.

Requirements

• Understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) and their pricing models.
• Proficiency with AWS Cost Explorer and Budgets, including AI provider billing.
• Experience with Python and Bash for scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Knowledge of FinOps practices and experience in root cause analysis.
• Must be based in Cyprus for a hybrid work arrangement.
