Frontend Engineer (React / React Native) – Store & Web (React)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; office-based full-time. Flexibility to work from home when needed, but this is not a remote- or hybrid-first role. Candidates must be based in or be happy to relocate to the Netherlands.

hirify.global operates a sustainable grocery delivery service across Europe and develops its customer-facing technology in-house.

What you will do

• Build and improve hirify.global’s customer-facing grocery store across web and mobile.
• Implement new shopping features with React and TypeScript.
• Contribute to the React Native architecture and server-driven UI framework.
• Develop personalized content and store experiences at scale.
• Collaborate with designers and product owners to define feature specifications.
• Translate business requirements into technical plans and ship applications.

Requirements

• 4+ years of full-time software development experience.
• Professional experience with React, React Native, TypeScript, or similar JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience shipping applications and working with a variety of technologies.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to turn business requirements into technical plans.
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Netherlands, with full-time work from the Amsterdam office.

Nice to have

• Experience with React Native; training is provided on the job if needed.
