Senior Software Engineer / Web Developer (AEM)

Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid working policy applies.

Salary: €87,800–€131,800 EUR base pay annually, with potential bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Develop, design, test, and deploy AEM Sites, AEM Assets, and Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions.
• Build and scale hirify.global.com and internal and consumer-facing web applications across the full software development lifecycle.
• Migrate AEM Sites and Assets to AEM as a Cloud Service and refactor legacy AMS code for cloud compatibility.
• Improve user experience, SEO, A/B testing, website performance, operability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, quality engineers, and DevOps specialists to deliver reliable solutions.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, workshops, documentation, mentorship, and development guidance.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of recent, progressive experience in AEM content management and AEM development tools.
• Strong expertise in AEM templates, components, dialogs, widgets, bundles, Experience Fragments, Content Fragments, SPA, JCR, Sling, and Apache Felix OSGi.
• Experience migrating to AEM as a Cloud Service, using the Content Transfer Tool, adapting dispatcher and workflow configurations, reprocessing assets, and meeting Cloud Manager quality gates.
• Working knowledge of Java/J2EE, JSP, web services, JUnit, MVC, Eclipse, Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube, Jira, GitHub, and automated testing.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, with knowledge of CDN, Akamai, middleware integrations, load balancers, and web performance.
• Ability to communicate clearly, work in Agile/Scrum environments, collaborate with geographically diverse teams, and provide technical leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience with React, NextJS, NodeJS, Algolia Search, Jira, or Asana.
• Adobe Certified Expert certification as an AEM Developer or AEM Architect.
