TL;DR
Sr. Consultant, Technical Solutions (Fintech): Designing, implementing, optimizing, and supporting complex digital payment solutions with an accent on systems integration, API architecture, tokenization, authentication, and transaction processing. Focus on diagnosing production issues, improving scalability and reliability, and translating business and technical requirements into actionable recommendations across matrixed teams.
Location: Atlanta, United States; hybrid with at least 3 days in the office. The role requires flexibility to support East Coast and West Coast hours, global stakeholder meetings, and occasional weekend or holiday incident management. Travel: 5β10%.
Salary: $127,300β$216,100 USD per year. Colorado salary range: $127,300β$165,800 USD per year. Bonus and equity may also be available.

What you will do
- Serve as a technical consultant and subject matter expert for client implementations and strategic initiatives across the digital payments ecosystem.
- Design, deliver, optimize, and support payment solutions in collaboration with Product, Engineering, Client Services, Operations, partners, and clients.
- Lead technical discovery sessions, solution design workshops, implementation planning, and post-launch optimization.
- Support complex integrations involving APIs, digital payment technologies, tokenization, authentication, transaction processing, and related platforms.
- Diagnose production issues affecting performance, transaction processing, customer experience, and operational stability.
- Drive improvements in scalability, reliability, operational efficiency, monitoring, observability, and incident management.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or qualifying experience with an advanced degree or PhD.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience in technical consulting, systems integration, solution engineering, implementation, or enterprise technology initiatives.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and client engagement skills.
- Experience working with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Ability to work in a hybrid office setting and provide support across East Coast and West Coast hours when required.
Nice to have
- Experience with payments, fintech, financial services, digital commerce, wallets, tokenization, authentication, or transaction processing.
- Knowledge of REST services, Java-based applications, SQL, cloud technologies, and modern software development practices.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SDLC, and product lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Docker, Jenkins, or equivalent platforms.
- Experience with observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana, New Relic, or ServiceNow, and AI-enabled productivity tools.
