Company

hirify.global is the entertainment and technology brand of Sony Interactive Entertainment, developing gaming hardware, network services, and interactive entertainment experiences.

What you will do

  • Establish and operate a studio-owned Flow/Jira Bridge, including configuration, deployment, recovery, and data-integrity monitoring.
  • Re-architect Flow automation and event-listener services for reliability and security, including migration away from fragile virtual-machine infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot Flow and Jira Bridge issues for internal developers and external development partners, serving as the primary escalation point.
  • Administer Flow Production Tracking schemas, permissions, layouts, custom fields, entity relationships, projects, and vendor workflows.
  • Repair and improve production pipelines for Character, VFX, and Cinematics workflows.
  • Build dashboards, reports, and custom pages for production and leadership reporting.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of professional experience administering Flow Production Tracking, ShotGrid, or Shotgun in games, VFX, or animation production.
  • Hands-on experience with the sg-jira-bridge or a comparable Flow/Jira integration, including independently modifying and deploying a Python service.
  • Working knowledge of the Flow Python API, Toolkit, tk-core, pipeline configurations, and YAML configuration.
  • Experience operating Flow event listeners and automation as reliable services, plus Jira administration and REST API experience.
  • Experience managing permissions for internal and external vendor populations in a multi-vendor co-development environment.
  • Must be based in the United States and able to work across time zones with overseas partners.

Nice to have

  • Experience shipping an AAA title with Flow/ShotGrid as the production system of record.
  • Experience with self-hosted services, containerization, or CI/CD for pipeline tooling.
  • Familiarity with Perforce, Maya, RV, Deadline, render/review integrations, SQL, reporting, or BI tools.

Culture & Benefits

  • Six-month contract focused initially on Flow/Jira Bridge stability and platform reliability.
  • High-autonomy role with responsibility for proactive issue resolution and long-term platform improvements.
  • Collaboration with internal teams and external development partners in a multi-vendor production environment.
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits are available.
  • Background checks are conducted at the offer stage.

Hiring process

  • Successful candidates undergo background checks at the offer stage, which may include criminal background checks.
