What you will do

• Develop and implement internal processes to ensure compliance with global regulatory obligations.
• Manage litigation and proceedings before regulatory agencies, partnering with outside counsel and managing budgets.
• Represent the company's interests before various authorities and government agencies.
• Perform periodic risk assessments related to competition and consumer protection laws.
• Collaborate with global litigation and competition counsel in the US and other regions.
• Provide training to the business on competition laws and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 15+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) leading complex litigation matters.
• Qualified lawyer in the UK with experience working across EMEA or global jurisdictions.
• Substantial experience advising on responses to subpoenas, RFIs, CIDs, and interview requests from regulatory agencies.
• Deep understanding of competition law, principles, and litigation risk.
• Strong strategic and commercial mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Knowledge of policy-making processes and government relations.
