Epic Inpatient Clinical Documentation/Orders & WestCom Nurse Call Analyst (Healthcare IT)

Location: Onsite in Medellin, Colombia, five days per week. No work from home or hybrid work.

What you will do

• Configure, maintain, and support Epic Inpatient Clinical Documentation and Orders applications.
• Support WestCom Nurse Call integrations with Epic and troubleshoot application and interface issues.
• Gather and document clinical and business requirements from nursing, physician, and operational stakeholders.
• Design, build, test, validate, and deploy Epic enhancements, upgrades, and optimization initiatives.
• Support inpatient documentation, CPOE, nursing workflows, medication workflows, and care processes.
• Maintain workflow diagrams, interface specifications, build documentation, and production support materials.

Requirements

• Epic Clinical Documentation and/or Epic Orders Certification is mandatory.
• At least 3 years of hands-on Epic Inpatient experience is required.
• Experience supporting or integrating WestCom Nurse Call systems.
• Experience with Epic build, configuration, implementation, testing, and production support.
• Understanding of inpatient clinical workflows, nursing documentation, CPOE, healthcare interoperability, and interface troubleshooting.
• Must work from the Medellin, Colombia office five days per week; no remote or hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Experience in U.S. healthcare environments.
• Experience integrating Epic with third-party clinical communication systems and medical devices.
• Knowledge of HL7 interfaces, clinical decision support, patient safety workflows, and care coordination.
• Availability to join immediately or after a 15–20 day notice period.
