Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada
Salary: CAD 107,000–157,300 annual base salary

What you will do
- Build and maintain full-stack features across React web, React Native mobile, and Python/Django backend applications.
- Design well-documented and tested REST APIs that operate reliably with intermittent connectivity.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to turn requirements into scoped technical plans.
- Contribute to architecture, design decisions, development workflows, tooling, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in on-call rotations and own production issue resolution.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong Python skills and experience building backend services and APIs with Django or a similar framework.
- Experience developing web applications with React and mobile applications with React Native for iOS and Android.
- Working knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and REST API design and consumption.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
- Clear communication skills and a strong commitment to code quality.
Nice to have
- Experience building offline-first or connectivity-resilient mobile applications.
- Experience with Django REST Framework, AWS, feature flagging, and incremental rollouts.
- Experience using AI agents to accelerate development workflows.
- Background in construction, workforce management, or field operations software.
- Experience mentoring engineers, leading technical projects, or optimizing mobile performance on constrained devices and networks.
