What you will do

• Perform strategic research in offensive security, vulnerability research, and emerging threat tradecraft.
• Develop working prototypes using LLMs, agent frameworks, and AI coding assistants.
• Represent the company externally through technical blog posts, conference talks, and publications.
• Collaborate with Security Operations, Product, and Engineering to integrate research into practical outcomes.
• Investigate attacker TTPs and security-relevant technologies to stay ahead of evolving threats.
• Contribute to the development of research-driven automations and capabilities for products and services.

Requirements

• Significant experience in cybersecurity with in-depth knowledge of TTPs and the threat landscape.
• Expertise in domains such as offensive security, threat research, vulnerability research, or incident response.
• Strong ability to translate complex technical research into engaging content for diverse audiences.
• Practical experience using LLMs and AI-assisted workflows to accelerate problem solving.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
• Must be based in Netherlands, Germany, or Belgium.

Nice to have

• Background in Incident Response, MDR, Threat Hunting, or SOC Operations.
• Hands-on programming experience with Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Proficiency in Dutch and/or German languages.
• Demonstrable research output and contributions to the global cybersecurity community.
