What you will do

• Perform end-to-end testing for Revit and Civil 3D installation, including requirements analysis, design review, and risk assessment.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test tools and test cases for installer-related scenarios.
• Validate installation workflows including patching, repair, rollback, uninstallation, and version compatibility.
• Investigate and reproduce customer-reported issues to improve installer stability and usability.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to identify quality gaps and optimize testing efficiency.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Basic programming or scripting skills in Python, Groovy, or Shell for automation.
• Must be based in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
• Solid understanding of Windows OS fundamentals (file system, registry, services, permissions).
• Basic knowledge of desktop software installation technologies and lifecycle scenarios.

Nice to have

• Experience testing Windows installer packages and technologies like MSI or bootstrapper-based installers.
• Familiarity with Windows system diagnostics and troubleshooting tools.
• Knowledge of Jenkins or other CI systems.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft .NET platform.
