Location: Remote within Canada

Salary: $112,000–$163,900 starting base salary, with potential additional compensation and benefits.

What you will do

  • Define research strategy for hirify.global Assistant and the broader AI platform.
  • Research customer needs, behaviours, adoption, trust, usability, and value across AI-powered experiences.
  • Plan and conduct mixed-methods research across discovery, concept evaluation, and measurement.
  • Translate customer insights into product strategy, roadmap decisions, and investment priorities.
  • Coordinate research efforts and evaluation approaches across product, design, engineering, marketing, and data science teams.
  • Mentor researchers and advance user research practices across hirify.global.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of professional experience in user research.
  • Expertise in usability studies, field studies, survey analysis, heuristic evaluations, participatory design, and focus groups.
  • Experience conducting research in agile platform development environments.
  • Ability to influence senior directors, vice presidents, and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in human factors, human-computer interaction, cognitive science, engineering, psychology, product design, or a related field.
  • Fluent English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills; candidates must be based in Canada.

Nice to have

  • Experience researching AI products, assistants, copilots, search, recommendation systems, or other intelligent experiences.
  • Experience scaling research roadmaps in fast-moving product areas.
  • Understanding of customer value, trust, adoption, and behavioural change in emerging AI experiences.
  • Experience mapping complex customer journeys and identifying opportunities for AI to reduce friction.
