Focus on designing embedded communication layers, building APIs and microservices, and ensuring performance, verification, and validation in medical technology.

What you will do

• Develop backend software using Golang, Java, and Python.
• Build and integrate Linux-based embedded systems, with Yocto or PetaLinux preferred.
• Implement real-time data acquisition and communication across SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, TCP/UDP, and embedded protocols.
• Develop APIs and microservices supported by CI/CD workflows.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases while optimizing code quality and performance.
• Contribute to software development, verification, and validation for a medical dosimetry solution.

Requirements

• Professional experience in backend software development with Golang and Java or Python.
• Experience with Linux-based systems; Yocto or PetaLinux is preferred.
• Strong understanding of real-time systems and data acquisition.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, CI/CD, SQL, NoSQL, and Git-based version control.
• English and Portuguese required.
• Availability to work onsite in Aveiro, Portugal.
